R&J Batteries continues its charge with Brad Jones Racing

Brad Jones Racing is proud to confirm the extension of its long-standing partnership with R&J Batteries, announcing a new agreement that will see the company’s branding carried into an exciting new era for the team.

In 2026, the iconic red-and-white colours of R&J Batteries will appear on the team’s all-new Toyota Supra, set to join the Supercars Championship grid as part of BJR’s manufacturer shift.

The partnership enters its sixth year, continuing one of the team’s most trusted and successful commercial relationships.

Andre Heimgartner, already confirmed to remain with BJR for the 2026 season, will remain behind the wheel of the #8 R&J Batteries entry as the team transitions to the Supra platform.

BJR is thrilled to have the all-Australian–owned company reaffirm its commitment to the team. Managing Director Ray Robson and CEO Stuart Hamilton have become valued members of the BJR family, and their ongoing support plays a key role in the team’s future direction.

In 2025 R&J Batteries celebrated 30 years in business, an incredible milestone for the organisation and Brad Jones Racing congratulates the team and wishes them the best for their continued success.

As BJR prepares for this new chapter with Toyota, the continued backing of R&J Batteries is both significant and sincerely appreciated.

The #8 R&J Batteries Toyota Supra will make its competitive debut at Sydney Motorsport Park for the opening round of the 2026 Supercars Championship, held February 20–22.
