Cameron Hill joins Brad Jones Racing in 2026, an exciting recruit for the squad who is a proven talent in Supercars.
From when he first climbed aboard a go-kart at 10-years-old to when he made his maiden Bathurst 1000 start in 2022, Canberra driver Hill’s racing career has been shaped by his determination, relentless work ethic and raw talent behind the wheel of every car he has ever raced.
After a successful career in karts, highlighted by multiple state titles, an Australian title in 2012 and a trip to the coveted Las Vegas Supernationals in 2013, Hil selected a pathway well-travelled by many aspiring drivers – the Australian Formula Ford Championship.
With the support of his privately-run family team, Hill finished as the highest-placed rookie in 2014 with one overall podium finish, before dominating the 2015 season – his 12 race wins that year also earning him a place among the 10 most successful drivers in the 52-year history of national Formula Ford.
Hill progressed to the newly-created Toyota 86 Series in 2016, winning the first five races on the trot and finishing third in the standings. Returning for another Toyota 86 season in 2017, Hill achieved the rare feat of qualifying on pole position at every single round and won eight of the 14 races.
The one-make series theme continued for Hill in 2018, but with a substantial upgrade in speed and performance with a step up to Porsche Carrera Cup Australia.
2021 was Hill’s breakthrough year in the Porsche category – six consecutive race wins spanning the Sandown, Tailem Bend and Townsville rounds set him up for an emphatic series triumph.
Hill’s Carrera Cup success, combined with his earlier T86RS and Formula Ford achievements, caught the attention of an Australian motorsport powerhouse – Triple 8 Race Engineering, which recruited him to their Super2 Series program for the 2022 season.
Despite it being Hill’s first season in a Supercar, he adapted with great distinction, scoring a trio of top-three race finishes and finishing fifth in the points.
In 2023 he made his full-time debut, joining Matt Stone Racing on a multi-year deal in the Repco Supercars Championship, driving a Gen 3 Chevrolet Camaro. A learning year in 2023 was followed by an impressive season where he placed 12th in the Championship. Hill then had a breakout year in 2025, having been a constant presence in the Top 10, with highlights being his first podium and race victory at the Australian Grand Prix, followed by another podium finish in New Zealand and a fifth-place finish at the Bathurst 1000.
Hill comes to Brad Jones Racing in one of the most exciting eras for the team.
