Hill was nursing a brake issue throughout the race but was able to finish 19th.

QUOTEBOARD
SUPERCARS
Andre Heimgartner, #8 R&J Batteries Toyota GR Supra
“Tough day, just trying to try and find some direction. I feel like there's some good positives in qualifying but it didn't end up being amazing. But some good positives with some setup stuff but the race was a bit tricky as well. We just didn’t have as much speed in the car as I would have liked to have.”
Cameron Hill, #14 FGI Racing Toyota GR Supra
“It was a shame we didn't qualify as well as we would have liked to. We made some changes for the race, the car felt quite competitive but unfortunately, we had a wheel nut issue in the pit stop, which cost us the chance of a solid result. We’ll look forward to tomorrow and hopefully have a better day."
Macauley Jones, #96 Dormer HVAC Racing Toyota GR Supra
“Really disappointing qualifying. So, feel like we'll go back to the drawing board there and see what approach we can do for tomorrow. The race pace wasn't too bad, I feel like we made some progress today to carry it on to tomorrow and the other tyre.”
SUPER2
Brad Vaughan #80 Brad Jones Racing ZB Commodore
“A bit of a disappointing day from car 80 side of things. Just sort of lacking the race pace, got involved in a few little bingles on track but that's okay, we're still P3 in the championship and tomorrow is a new day."
Matthew Hillyer, #2 Brad Jones Racing ZB Commodore
“Finished up P6 so from starting P9, not too bad a result. Banked some points, hopefully tune it up overnight and be ready for quali and hope to get a podium tomorrow and see what that brings.”
