Brad Jones Racing celebrates two top-ten finishes in final race of Supercars season
Brad Jones Racing has wrapped up the 2025 Supercars season with two top-ten finishes in the final race of the year.
Bryce Fullwood bowed out of full-time Supercars racing with a solid 10th place in the Adelaide Grand Final.
Starting the 78-lap race from 12th, Fullwood remained in contention for a top-ten result throughout the entire distance.
Andre Heimgartner showed remarkable speed all day, putting the R&J Batteries Camaro into the Shootout alongside team-mate Macauley Jones.
Heimgartner ran inside the top five early and demonstrated impressive pace, but in the third stint he settled into seventh, the position in which the Kiwi ultimately greeted the chequered flag.
Jones, who started from sixth, struggled early with a braking issue and later received an unfortunate penalty that dropped him down the order.
The Pizza Hut Camaro crossed the line in 16th.
It was also Jaxon Evans’ final race with the BJR squad.
After a challenging qualifying session, he started from 20th. Evans continued to battle discomfort in the SCT Motorsport Camaro during the race and finished 19th.
These results means that BJR finishes 7th in the Team's Championship for the year.
Brad Jones Racing enters the summer break with the mammoth task of building three Toyota Supras to debut at the 2026 season opener in Sydney (Feb 20-22).
Super2
Brad Vaughan has finished his home round in stunning form with a race win in the Super2 series.
The Adelaide-based driver started from Pole and lead every lap of the race.
The #80 Dare Iced Coffee Racing driver held off pressure behind him and secured the round win.
The Super2 season has now concluded with Vaughan locking in fifth overall and teammate Cody Gillis finishing 19th in the championship standings.
The series returns at Round 1 of the Supercars Championship next year at Sydney Motorsport Park on February 20-22.

“Not a bad day today. Good way to end the season. Half decent result and decent qualifying. It's nice to have two cars in the 10 for the shootout, so it's good. But just when it came to the crunch in the race, we weren't quite fast enough. Overall, pretty happy. A lot of different emotions, obviously different people leaving and things mixing up. There's a lot going on, but looking forward to some off time and getting to Toyota.”

“Really big day for me here today. We qualified 12th. A little bit bummed. I felt like we had the potential to be a little bit better but just had a little bit of a messy session and didn't get our last lap in. But it doesn't matter at the end of the day, we started 12th. We had a good race and came home P10. I really wanted a top 10 to finish off my time here with Brad Jones Racing and all the crew. It's been a pleasure. I've learned a lot. Not sure what's next, but gotta really enjoy some time with the boys while I've got it.”

“Was really happy with qualifying. I feel like we've made a big step up from the other two days which was really solid and the shootout lap, was pretty happy with that. But really disappointed with the race. Felt like I really battled, especially in the start of the race and the balance of the car throughout some of the race as well. Definitely some positives but I was pretty disappointed in myself a bit for that race.”
Jaxon Evans
Supercars driver, #12 SCT Motorsport Camaro
“My day was pretty average, but that's the result side of things. So no, all in all, it was awesome to spend another weekend with the BJR crew, sad to be leaving them, but it's the way things panned out. But frustrating weekend results wise for us, not the way we wanted to round out the year. Grateful for the opportunity, grateful to have met so many nice people, I'm sure I'll see them around the paddock.”
