BJR wraps up Friday at Queensland Raceway

Brad Jones Racing will spend the evening working through data and driver feedback as the team looks to make gains ahead of Saturday’s action at Queensland Raceway.

Friday’s results fell short of the team’s expectations, with the crew now turning their attention to the areas that need improvement and working hard to find performance overnight.

It’s the team’s first time at the ‘Paperclip’ with the all new GR Supras, and they are still working through the ideal car set-up.

Two short-format sprint races will take place tomorrow, with qualifying set to get underway at 10:00am AEST.

SUPERCARS

Andre Heimgartner, #8 R&J Batteries Toyota GR Supra

” Eventful day. Things weren't quite smooth in the last practice, so didn't get a green run in. But I don't think the cars too far. I just need to keep chipping away with it.”

Cameron Hill, #14 Dare Racing Toyota GR Supra

“Practice today. Very busy session. We tried a lot of different things, so we've just got a lot of data to go over tonight. We'll see if we can find what works tomorrow.”

Macauley Jones, #96 JWL Racing Toyota GR Supra

“Pretty average day. Had some electrical dramas for practice one. Didn't get a good lap on the green lap, just made a mistake and ran wide. Feel like we’ve got a bit to work on.”
