AlphaTheta brings the noise to Supercars with Jones Toyota GR Supra

AlphaTheta is set to make some noise as they partner with Brad Jones Racing and Macauley Jones for select rounds of the 2026 Supercars Championship.

The AlphaTheta Toyota GR Supra breaks cover today, unveiling a bold, re-invented look that will hit the grid at Sydney Motorsport Park and the Australian Grand Prix.

The Supercar is impossible to miss with bold blue and purple paint strokes flowing across the sculpted lines of the Supra.

A crisp white base amplifies the vibrant colours, making every curve of the AlphaTheta car stand out.

As the company driving the future of DJ technology, AlphaTheta is building on the trusted legacy of Pioneer DJ — created by DJs, forDJs — while embracing new opportunities to connect with fans in unexpected ways, including motorsport.

The car’s eye-catching wrap was produced using 3M films, with panels and chassis prepared using PPG paints, ensuring the Supra looks as sharp up close as it does at speed.

Jands and its associated brands will feature on the #96 Supra across five rounds of the 2026 season: Sydney, the Australian Grand Prix, Townsville, The Bend and the Gold Coast.

Macauley Jones will take the wheel of the #96 AlphaTheta Supra on Wednesday at the official Supercars test day at Sydney Motorsport Park, ahead of the season-opening round this weekend (February 20–22).

“I’ve seen every stage of this process  from the first discussions with Toyota, announcing the partnership, right through to building the car. It’s been a long journey to get here but seeing the finished product makes it completely worth the wait.

“It’s a sick-looking car and once you add the AlphaTheta colours it takes it to another level.

“Racing the Supra is a huge moment  not just for me, but for Brad Jones Racing, Supercars, and the sport as a whole. It’s going to feel different lining up on the grid this weekend, and I’ll need to make a few adjustments, but I honestly can’t wait.”

CEO and Managing Director at Jands

“There’s a natural synergy in seeing AlphaTheta aligned with Toyota on the Supercars grid. Both brands share Japanese heritage, a deep commitment to engineering excellence, and a relentless focus on performance and unlocking potential, whether behind the traditional decks or on the track.

“Supercars gives AlphaTheta a unique opportunity to reach the next generation of creators and musicians - audiences who may not discover music technology through traditional channels but connect through motorsport, culture and lifestyle. That crossover is incredibly powerful for us.”

“This partnership is about performance, culture and connection - taking AlphaTheta beyond the musical creatives and the DJ booth and placing it at the centre of one of Australia’s most dynamic sporting stages.”
